Job Description

Perform 2–3 weekday maintenance days (weather dependent).
Operate BONC’s BCS walk-behind tractor with rotary plow for tread work, berm cleanup, corridor widening, and prep.
Complete ~6 hours of strenuous hand-tool labor per day (McLeod, Pulaski, loppers, shovel, etc.).
Conduct ~1 hour of setup/shutdown, staging tools, loading equipment, and communicating location.
Post daily work location to invite mid-week volunteers (retirees, flexible schedules).
Lead two Saturday volunteer work days per month including safety talks, tool instruction, and waiver management.
Track volunteer hours, file workday summaries, and submit trail reports.

Staff outreach booths on alternate Saturdays (markets or trailheads).
Engage riders and the public; promote BONC memberships and monthly giving.
Migrate all donors to Donorbox and clean up legacy systems.
Process prorated refunds once donors are transferred to the new system.
Maintain clean donor/member lists; ensure recurring payments are correct.
Respond to member emails; manage BONC’s membership inbox.
Conduct corporate membership outreach to local businesses and track follow-ups.
Provide weekly communication updates to the board based on trail work and membership activity.
