BONC
Join us this Sunday 02/01/2026 from 10am to 2pm for a volunteer trailwork day. We will be working on clearing away the organic ground cover and moving branches from the path of the under construction new trail, Thunder Chicken! Bring steel rakes and or Mcleods if you have them. Please wear sturdy shoes with good traction as we will be working along steep loose side hill slopes. Sturdy work or bike gloves are always a must.
We will meet near the green gate at the top of Unkindness climb trail.
WORK DAY
We’re going to meet 700’ West of Unkindness (the climb trail) to clear out the zone for a skills park in the woods!

Hoot Trail Clean Up Day
Guys, gals and kiddos, come join the ladies of the BONC Board to give Hoot a haircut! Work will consist of clearing sight lines, brambles and face slappers. Bring loppers if you have them. We won't do any dirt work in the current dusty conditions. Meet at the bottom of Hoot near the Rock Creek Nature Trail at 10 on Sunday 7/20. We'll quit at 1--sooner if we're done--then go for a ride.
BONC Public Meeting
Join BONC board members for a public meeting on Thursday, June 19th at BrewBilt’s BrewHaus! Learn about current trailwork, upcoming projects and future planning. We’ll gather outside at the BrewHaus where there is food, libations and ample bike parking. Bring a camp chair to guarantee a seat.

Gateway Bike Park Annual Spring Tune Up
Volunteer with YBONC and BONC for the annual spring tune up of the Gateway Bike Park located at the Western Gateway Park in Penn Valley! Lunch provided (BQ Burgers, Chips & Drinks).
Bring what you have: Blowers, Rakes, Weed Wackers, Wheel Barrow, Shovel, Tapper, Loppers, McCleods
Wear appropriate clothing for yard work/poison oak. Bring gloves, water, sun protection, safety glasses

Parliament Work Day
Sunday, 1/26 get outside with BONC to help with some necessary clean up work. We'll be piling downed trees at the bottom of the Parliament network, naturalizing dig holes and more. Bring metal garden rakes, McLeods or hand saws as well as gloves, water and snacks. Meet at 9 am at the top of Talon Show. Sign the participation waiver here.

Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship is working on the Pauley Creek trail on Sunday, Nov 10. Meet at Packer Saddle at 9am for a shuttle to the work site.
